Some days it's (hopefully!) more obvious than others, but Scout puts her own outfits together every morning. Occasionally I can "trick" her into wearing something I suggest--like on picture day for school--but 9 times out of 10 the ensembles are all Scout. This is what she came up with this morning. I told her it was going to be 78 degrees this afternoon, so she could probably go without the hat, but then I suppose the look wouldn't have been complete.
Here's a closer look at the chicken hat. And the shoes, which add a girly touch to (today's) tomboy style.
