After two years, two months and these last two seemingly interminable weeks, we finally saw an offer in writing from our mystery investor. We signed the papers today, but it turns out this mystery guy isn't so mysterious after all. Remember how Alex used to invite strangers in to our house for their own private tour? Turns out our guy was one of Alex's guys from a do-it-yourself showing. The funny (funny ironic, not funny "ha ha") thing is that the night Alex showed this guy around our house, he was feeling pretty proud of himself and he said to me: "I may have just sold our house. Seriously."
It turns out that Alex really might have sold our house. Do you think we can get a cut of the commission?
