This is a busy week for the holiday festivities. Tonight, for a new adventure, we went to the 8th annual lighting of the former Austin airport control tower (I'm pretty sure the "event" had a fancier name than that, but I can't remember what it was). I gave the event a thumbs down because I was expecting a little more on from the tower's lighting committee. The kids gave it a thumbs up because they were serving hot cider. Either way, I think we'll skip it next year. You can't do it all.
