book blitz(krieg)

Catcher had a friend over this afternoon. Someone suggested (Catcher's word) that they lock the door to his bedroom and then proceed to knock all the books off of his bookshelf. Both of these things they did, but they also finished their kindergarten homework behind locked doors, so at least they were studious destructors. After the hurricane and the departure of his friend, I made it clear to Catcher that 1) we do not lock doors in this house and 2) it's fine if you want to knock all of the books off of your bookshelf, but you're going to put them back.
