When you're on day three of a three-day, 105-degree heat advisory streak, you start to feel a little trapped inside of your own home. Although the sun was shining [very] brightly outside this afternoon, we treated it like a rainy day and spent our time inside working on puzzles, building Legos and reading stories. Tillie was not into it at first--even when we found a box just her size for playing--but she eventually came around when we gave her Scout's hat and asked her to sing her favorite song, "Mommy, mommy, ma-me-ma" (sung to the tune of "Mary Had a Little Lamb").
