I'm surprised that A) being a middle child, B) marrying a middle child and C) having a middle child I had never gotten wind of National Middle Child's Day. It's a real thing. I heard about it from Natalie Morales--a middle child herself--on the Today Show this morning. I was a day late to the party because Middle Child's Day is August 12, but this post is dedicated to my favorite middle child. I said my favorite middle child (not my favorite child).
